Using The Environmental Adjective
I developed a speech called "The Portable Environmentalist" as part of my efforts to green the hospitality industry. The notion is to not only remind people to be environmentally active and sensitive while traveling but also to give them suggestions on things they can do. The presentation is well received, and I always new ideas from the audience.
As a "portable environmentalist" I share travel tips and ideas so people are more environmentally sensitive as they travel. But the catch is that the hospitality industry needs to be more informative than mere adjectives allow. What does being an "environmentalist" or being "environmentally friendly" mean to you?

Green Hotels Branch Out Again
The Prince Albert II Of Monaco Foundation and The Fairmont Hotels have joined forces to take their respective sustainable plans further into Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Both organizations have strong environmental commitments and this alliance will strengthen both of their goals.
Environmentally friendly hotels have taken a huge step forward recently. When the Fairmont Hotels teamed up with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation to take sustainable measures further into Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Green hotels and eco travelers can further this effort by doing more and asking more of others. Energy and water conservation, climate change and biodiversity are important issues we all need to face and work together on to make the world a better place.

Green Living on the Road
Being environmentally active should continue on the road. Take your green habits with you! It's time to prove the nay-sayers wrong about greenies not being environmentally friendly on the road. Pay as much attention to environmental issues while you travel as you do while at home. And get others to follow in your footsteps.
