Green Resolutions
Resolutions are good any time you want to make a change in your life or business, but the New Year is an especially great time to resolve for change.
Resolve to be a green hotel by making your daily operations more sustainable. One simple step any hotel can take that will save money and resources is energy and water conservation. What environmentally friendly step do you resolve to take?
My resolutions this year include:
- discontinue use of plastic bags and use only durable bags
- stay at moregreen hotels when I travel
- share more green tips, information and challenges with you

What resolutions can you make? Here are a few ideas to implement in your hotel:
- decrease water and energy consumption
- decrease chemical use in laundry, cleaning, and pest control
- involve your guests, employees, and vendors in making your inn a sustainable one
